School Killer's Animated Terror: The Minnesota teenager responsible for Monday's high school shooting spree last year created a violent, blood-soaked video that included an animated character shooting four people and blowing up a police car before committing suicide.

The video is something else; it’s more like a clip I’d expect to see in a movie about a school shooter. Real life doesn’t usually offer us such convenient character development props.

Between the video and his equally disturbing MSN profile page this kid was pretty up-front about his ambitions. I wonder what new forms of social control it will all be used to justify. I’m so glad I’m not a teenager these days.

So much for blaming this one on music.

Although I can't wait to see the first newscast to report that John Lennon is the root of all evil and is responsible for all of this.

Last week in my "mass comm and society" class (which is lower-division and full of BS), I had to endure a lengthy discussion about how People Who Dress Gothic are all Disturbed and it's Clearly A Cry For Help. It was downhill from there... right down to "Well, people need to just be NORMAL!"

(Despite the Nirvana and John Lennon, he is reported to have worn a trench coat, eyeliner, etc.)

Be glad you're not a teenager, but you'll be raising one someday.

That's what scares me the most, watching my own kids wade through that type of crap.

"he is reported to have worn a trench coat"

OMG we need to BAN TRENCHCOATS NOW if we are going to have ANY hope of SAVING OUR CHILDREN!!!!

I don't know why but for some reason this whole thing makes me think of Donnie Darko(best movie ever made) and the crazy schoolteacher who wanted to ban the book.

Well, you do know that London Fog gives ten percent of its profits to the Church of Satan, right? Just like Procter & Gamble.

Its hard not to look past how kids are growing up now-a-days in the decision to have a kid/more kids.

Personally, I'm having second thoughts about raising a second child.
